Suresh Mohapatra Takes Charge As Chief Secretary Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Senior bureaucrat Suresh Mohapatra on Friday took charge as the new chief secretary of Odisha.

The1986-batch IAS officer took charge from his predecessor Asit Tripathy, who retired on December 31.

Prior to his appointment as chief secretary, Mohapatra  was the Development Commissioner and holding additional charge as the Working Chairperson of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri.

Mohapatra becomes the 44th chief secretary of the state.
