BISWAS Gets New President: Engineer Raj Kumar Elected Unopposed.

Bhubaneswar: Engineer Raj Kumar has been elected unopposed as the new President of the Bihar Social Welfare Assistance Society (BISWAS). The new executive committee of BISWAS was constituted during the organisation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), held at Hotel Saffron in Bhubaneswar in the presence of hundreds of members.

The meeting was presided over by BISWAS Editor and senior journalist Ashok Pandey. In accordance with the organisation’s rules and procedures, the previous executive committee was dissolved and the new executive committee was announced. As soon as Raj Kumar’s unopposed election as President was announced, members present at the meeting welcomed him with applause and congratulated him by presenting bouquets.

Members and office-bearers of the BISWAS Bhubaneswar and Cuttack chapters attended the AGM. The primary objective of the meeting was to formally dissolve the previous executive committee, constitute a new executive body and deliberate on the organisation’s upcoming activities and action plan.

After being elected unopposed as President, Engineer Raj Kumar expressed his gratitude to all members for their trust and support. He said he would make every effort to discharge the responsibility entrusted to him with sincerity, dedication and commitment. He also expressed his resolve to work together with all members of the BISWAS family to strengthen social service and public welfare initiatives.

Raj Kumar emphasised that the strength of an organisation lies in its unity and mutual cooperation among its members. He said special attention would be given to making service activities more effective and expanding initiatives related to social welfare and community development in the coming days.

The AGM also witnessed detailed discussions on BISWAS’s future action plan. Members stressed the need to expand social activities, make welfare initiatives more effective and systematic, and work collectively on issues concerning the welfare of society. Members also shared their views and suggestions during the meeting.

Speakers at the meeting said that the BISWAS family has remained actively involved in social welfare and community service initiatives. They expressed hope that under the leadership of Engineer Raj Kumar, the organisation would receive further impetus and that social and public welfare activities would be strengthened in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and other areas.

The formation of the new executive committee generated enthusiasm among the members. Those present reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening organisational unity, coordination and the spirit of service, and assured the newly elected President of their full cooperation.

The programme concluded with BISWAS members and office-bearers from the Bhubaneswar and Cuttack chapters congratulating Engineer Raj Kumar once again and wishing him a successful tenure. The meeting concluded with a resolve to further strengthen BISWAS and continue advancing its social service and public welfare initiatives.
