Puri: On the auspicious occasion of Niladri Bije, internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sculpture on the Puri sea beach to mark the occasion and celebrate the day.
The artist took to Twitter to share a picture of his mural that depicted the images of Lord Jagannath holding Rasagola placed in earthen pots.
Niladri Bije happens to be the concluding day of the Ratha Yatra. On this day, the deities (Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra) return to the Ratna Bedi. As per the ritual, Lord Jagannath offers Rasgulla to goddess Laxmi to enter into the temple.
