Sensex Nifty Today: Stock market: Sensex again crosses 38,000 mark, Nifty also moves up
Today, on the second trading day of the week on Tuesday, the stock market started at the edge. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex opened at a level of 38093.31, up 158.58 points, or 0.42 per cent. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened at 11178.25 with an increase of 0.42 per cent i.e. 46.45 points.
Most of the heavyweights
to heavyweight stocks, today BPCL, G Ltd., Tech Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports, Axis Bank, SBI, Tata Motors, GAIL and the beginning of the IOC was on edge. The shares of Infosys, Infratel, Cipla, M&M, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, HCL Tech, Grasim, ITC and Asian Paints opened on the decline.
At sectorial indices
look at the sectorial index, so today all sectors open to green. These include metals, banks, finance services, pharma, FMCG, auto, IT, private banks, PSU banks, realty and media.
It was during the
pre-open that the stock market was on a green mark during the pre-open. At 9.10 am, the Sensex was at 38052.18 after gaining 117.45 points, or 0.31 per cent. The Nifty was up 22.30 points, or 0.20 per cent, at 11154.10.
