“Junior stars” shares its happiness with slum children.

Cuttack: The Raja festival celebrations have been organized in a unique way with the slum children by Junior Stars, a premier children’s institution located in East Cuttack. Members of the Junior Stars had gone to the nearby Shabar Sahi slum two days before the Raja festival due to the lock-down and shut-down for COVID-19 Pandemic. The activists distributed biscuits, books and copies along with new clothes and sarees. On this occasion the children explained how the social distancing amongst the children living in slums could be maintained.
Many intellectuals have praised Junior Stars’ efforts to bring a smile to the faces of poor children.
On behalf of Junior Stars, it was attended by Abhishek Shimadri, Amlan Das, Anitya Auroprakash Das, Shweta Sarangi, Ritesh Gaurav Jena and Deshraj Nanda… Distinguished social activists and Corona warriors Sanjay Jena, Ajit Kumar Das, Himanshu Sarangi and others were also present to encourage the children..
