Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj’s 110th Birth Anniversary Celebrated with Devotion and Spiritual Fervour.

Cuttack: The 110th birth anniversary of the revered Sadguru Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj was celebrated with devotion, spiritual fervour and solemnity at Chidananda Ashram in Tulsipur on Thursday. The programme was organised by the Divine Life Society, Cuttack Branch, with a large number of devotees attending the celebration and offering their श्रद्धा at the feet of the Guru.

The programme commenced with the Gyan Yajna Week. On the occasion, a spiritual discussion on the Kathopanishad was held, focusing on self-knowledge, spiritual awareness and the deeper purpose of life. This was followed by Guru Paduka Puja and Mahamantra Kirtan, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere across the ashram premises.

The highlight of the programme was the Satsang and spiritual discourse. Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri Divyanand Puri of Sadhana Sadan, Haridwar, delivered a discourse on ‘Chatushloki Bhagavata’. He highlighted the significance of Indian spiritual traditions, the Guru-Shishya relationship and the spiritual teachings of the Srimad Bhagavata, inspiring devotees to follow the path of self-reflection, righteousness and service.

A vote of thanks, felicitation ceremony and Vyas Puja were also organised. The concluding session included prayers and Shanti Path, followed by Prasad Sevan for the devotees.

Dr. Kshitish Chandra Mahanti, Smt. Manjulata Mahanti, Prof. Dr. Geeta Mahanti and family extended their service and support for the sacred occasion. The Divine Life Society, Cuttack Branch, expressed its gratitude to all devotees and volunteers whose cooperation contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.

The organisers said that such spiritual gatherings play an important role in strengthening service, harmony, values and spiritual consciousness in society. The teachings of Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj continue to inspire people towards self-discipline, service and the welfare of humanity. The celebration concluded with prayers, peace and remembrance of the Guru.
