All PM-KISAN beneficiaries will be facilitated for issue of Kisan Credit Card- GOI

CUTTACK: In a press meet today shri Nirmal chandra Panda LDM, Cuttack, and Sidharth Shankar Panda DDM, Cuttack brief the media about Kisan Credit Card, (KCC) issue to the eligible farmers in the district. There are 180576 PM Kisan beneficiaries are registered on PM Kisan portal, still  massive campaign for saturation of all PM Kisan beneficiaries with credit cards will be allocated to eligible farmers.

More Than 9.7 crores farmer families has been registered on the PM-KISAN portal and the benefit of income transferred to nearly 8.4 crore farmers in 4 instalmente of Rs. 5000/- p.a.

A Special drive has been initiated by the Government to facilitate universal access to concessional institutional credit for all PM-KISAN beneficiaries. All PM-KISAN beneficiaries will be facilitated for issue of Kisan
Credit Card to avail the benefit of Concessional institutional Credit.A simplified form of one page has been developed for coverage of PM-KISAN beneficiaries under KCC wherein they have to provide only the copy of the land record document and the crop sown along with the filled up form and approach the bank branch from where they are drawing PM-KISAN benefit, for issue of KCC to them.

KCC benefit has now been extended to Animal Husbandry and Fisheries farmers also. Those farmers who are KCC holders and also do Animal husbandry and Fisheries activities can approach the branch for sanction of additional limit. All charges including the processing, documentation, inspection and ledger folio charges as well as other service charges for KCC loans upto 3 lakhs have been waived off by Indian Bankers’ Association (IBA).  bank have been instructed to issue KCC within 14 days of received of completed application form from farmers.

All PM-KISAN beneficiaries have been auto approved for KCC and require to simply visit the nearest bank branch with a copy of land documents and details of crop sown along with the filled up one page form for availing the benefit.  Chittaranjan Pattnaik Chief Manager  ( SBI, ROB, JAGATSINGHPUR),Nirmal Kumar Rout (SBI, RBO), Cuttack, Sadasiba Sarangi (Secretary) Cuttack Cooperative Bank  and Dr. Asish Pattnaik, (DTC O/O CDVO, CUTTACK) were present in the meet.
