Literary Confluence of Indian Languages in Bhubaneswar. 
Over 100 writers to participate; multilingual poetry recital in 12+ languages at Jaydev Bhawan.

Bhubaneswar: The capital city will host the fifth edition of the Srikhetra National Literary Festival (SNLF) at Jaydev Bhawan on September 26 and 27. The two-day literary gathering will bring together more than 100 poets, writers, storytellers, translators and literary thinkers from across the country.
The major attraction will be a multilingual poetry conference, featuring poets from more than 12 Indian languages as well as tribal dialects. The initiative aims to promote the preservation of mother tongues and provide a national platform to regional literature under the theme “Many Languages, One Sensibility.”
The inaugural session will feature the release of special issues of literary magazines ‘Shabdabrahma’ and ‘Batayan’, along with collections of translated works from various Indian languages.
Prominent participants are expected to include Padma Shri Devi Prasanna Patnaik, poets Ashwini Kumar, Subodh Sarkar, Narendra Pundarik, Telugu poet Surendra Nagaraj, Odia critic Prafulla Kumar Mahanti, poet-administrator Amrit Rituraj and poet Vikramaditya Singh. Former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan are also expected to attend as distinguished guests.
The festival is being organised under the leadership of Director Dr. Phani Mohanty, Secretary Dr. Satyabrata Jena and Literary and Cultural Festival Secretary Pranab Kumar Chhotray.
