BSE Odisha 10th Result 2020 Declared; today.

Odisha 10th result has been declared today. Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha announced matric results in a press conference at 11 am.

Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha declared Odisha 10th Result 2020,at its office here today.

The result was declared formally via video-conferencing by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash . 

Students can now their results online on www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in from 11.30 onwards.

Candidates can also know results through SMS by typing “OR01<Roll No.>” and sending it to 5676750.

This year, a total of 5.6 lakh students appeared in class 10 Odisha BSE board examinations this year. The exams had ended on March 2 this year. Though the examination was not affected by the COVID-19 lockdown, the evaluation had to be postponed.

The total pass percentage stands at 78.76 % as against 70.78 % last year.

The result is now available on the board’s official website, ‘bseodisha.nic.in’, and official results portal, ‘orissaresults.nic.in’. Odisha matric results will also be available on private result portals and through SMS. The Board had held 10th examinations in March. Though the Odisha board concluded the matric exams before the nation-wide lockdown was announced to contain coronavirus spread, the board could not complete the evaluation process because of the lockdown restrictions. This year nearly six lakh students sat for the matric exams in Odisha.
