Tree Plantation as a symbol of Karma Yoga

Bhubaneswar:  Voluntary Organisation “KRIAA” has developed a novel way of performing Karma Yoga by planting tree and promoting environment. They have started the program today i.e. 02.09.2020 by planting fruit bearing tree & non fruit bearing tree in Govt. and Non-Govt. Schools to create awareness amongst the younger generation about the need for making mother earth green.

Guest of the occasion Mrs. Preeti Roy, educationist while planting the tree told “Mata Prithivi Santan Ahum Prithivya”. She admired the novel step of performing Karma Yoga through “Go Green” movement in whatever scale it may be. Lili Jenamani Founder-cum-Chairperson, KRIAA informed that they will be taking up such plantation in small groups keeping in view the Covid restriction and also their philosophy to contribute bit by bit with conviction.

Swapnendu Samantaray,Director, Jawahar Bal Bhawan and Trustee KRIAA foundation told that KRIAA is
committed to sustainable environment and well being of the mass. On this occasion Shri Vinaya Kumar Tiwari, Principal In-charge, Priyasis Mishra, PGT, Sarat Kumar Sahoo, TGT and other dignitaries were present. Social Distancing was maintained.
