209 cases registered for violating lockdown orders- odisha police

Cuttack: At least 209 cases have been registered in the State for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19.

This was informed by Odisha Police through a notification.

Out of these cases, 198 numbers of cases are registered for violation of lockdown whereas 2 cases have been registered for violation of “Home Quarantine”. Remaining 9 cases have been registered for other related issues, the notification read.

A 21-day lockdown has been enforced in the country as a measure to combat COVID-19.

So far, three persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha, according to data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
