Legal Action On Violation Of Lockdown Norms By MP Aparajita Sarangi -BMC said.
Bhubaneswar: Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Prem Chandra Chaudhary, on Thursday sought legal action against the violation of lockdown guidelines by Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi.
In a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar, the Municipal Commissioner cited the petitions received from two organizations and called the former’s attention on the photographic evidence submitted by them and the norms violated by the MP.
Chaudhary informed that a preliminary enquiry was also done by the Additional Commissioner of BMC in this regard which confirms the violation made by the MP, reports of which are enclosed with the letter.
“You are therefore requested to kindly take appropriate legal action on this matter. The allegation petitions are enclosed herewith for reference. The action taken report may kindly be submitted to my office for necessary action at this end,” he added.
