Cuttack Mahanagar Chhath Puja samiti organised friendship meet day after Chhath puja festival is finished.
This meet is to facilitate the people who work for the welfare of the devotees, and people living in the city.
Cuttack: Cuttack Mahanagar chhath Puja samiti organised a meet and get together for awarding the people of North East apravasisammukhya from Bihar, up, jharkhand, as they celebrate Chhath Puja in Odisha by following all the rules and guidelines of Odisha Government due to covid-19 pandemic situation in entire state and country.
They had appeal not to make any gathering at the Bank of river , and to make puja this year at their homes.
Naveen Patnaik has also wishes for the first time in the eve of Chhath Puja to the people living in the state.
Now there is a demand from the bihari community to declare state holiday for celebrating the Chhath puja festival in the state. As many other state had already declared as a holiday during the festival periods.
Subhash Singh MP BJD Rajya sabha was present as a chief Guest, and he said our state Odisha welcome all the people from different states and they leave here without any fear,as full protection,is provided by BJD government in the state.
He added chief minister Naveen Patnaik ensure that people should get equal rights, without any discrimination among odia and non odia people living in the state.
Non odia people living in the state with full of dignity and they do their business or services. They get all facilities of general utilities services provided by the state government.
Specially he said he will send the demand of apravasisammukhya from Bihar up jharkhand and other northern part of India staying in Odisha to declare state holiday during chhath Puja festival.
This year for the first time in the history of Odisha CM had tweet and send message to the devotees and people living in Odisha for the wellness on the eve of Chhath Puja.
Nand lal singh convener of BJD apravasisammukhya said he will also present a memorandum demanding for state holiday during the festival session.
Dr. Abhishek Sharma HOD of Revenshaw University was Guest of honour, he honour the woman devotees who participate in the festival and don’t take even water for 36 hours.
