Employees should be given sanitizer and mask in the office free of cost-The Odisha State Secretariat Employees demand.

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Secretariat Employees Federation has demanded that the government should supply sanitizer and mask to the employees free of cost.

The Federation, while appreciating the initiatives taken by the State government in combating the deadly Coronavirus, has said that the employees should be given sanitizer and mask in the office free of cost to ensure the life safety of the employees. Moreover, it has also said that provision of clean drinking water, tissue papers be made in the office. The canteens and eateries in the secretariat should be made to provide fresh and hot foods.

The State government’s Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disability(SSEPD) on Tuesday came out with a notification that all ASOs, SOs, Section Heads, Desk Officers and next higher officer of social security and empowerment persons with disability department will remain present in the office as usual. All other staff of this department will not attend office with effect from 18.03.2020 to 31.03.2020.
