Saluting the Brave: ” Ek Shaam Saheed o ke Naam” by Salute Tiranga in Cuttack.

Cuttack: In a heartfelt tribute to the sacred memories of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, the nationalist organization Salute Tiranga successfully organized a grand program titled “Ek Shaam Saheed o ke Naam” (An Evening in the Name of Martyrs) at the Saheed Bhawan in Cuttack.

Honoring the Guardians of the Nation.

The event was graced by a large number of patriotic citizens and distinguished guests. The evening commenced with the lighting of the lamp and the singing of the National Anthem. Key dignitaries in attendance included:

  • Mohammed Moquim, Former MLA

  • Prasanna Kumar Patasani, Former MP

  • Rajesh Jha, National President of Salute Tiranga

  • Vijay khandlwal, State Patron

  • Other notable attendees included Ganesh Prasad Kandoi, Upendra Singh, Sanjay Kumar Sharma (President, Cuttack Marwari Samaj), Shailesh Kumar Verma, and Program Coordinator Manoj Sharma.

    Speaking on the initiative, Shailesh Kumar Verma, State President of Salute Tiranga, stated:

    “This is not just an event; it is a movement to ensure that the flame of patriotism remains lit in the hearts of our youth. We invite every citizen of Cuttack to join us in saluting the guardians of our borders.”

Inspiration for the Youth:

Addressing the gathering as the Chief Speaker, National President Rajesh Jha paid his respects to the sacrifices of the martyrs and called upon the youth to step forward in service to the nation.

The event was skillfully moderated by State Patron Naresh Ganeriwal.

Recognizing warrior and Sacrifice:

A significant highlight of the evening was the felicitation of several brave personnel and the families of martyrs with the “Rashtra Prahari Samman”:

  • Armed Forces: Chittaranjan Nayak, Surendra Kumar Sahu, Udaynath Sethi, and Srikant Chandra Das.

  • Police & RPF: IPS Devdatta Singh, IPS Prateek Singh, RPF IIC Raj Singh Mallick, and RPF Constable Smruti Ranjan Sahu.

  • Martyr’s Tribute: The family of Amar Kumar Nayak, who sacrificed his life in the line of duty at the border, was specially honored.

The patriotic songs performed during the ceremony moved the audience to tears, filling the hall with a profound sense of national pride.

Additionally, social workers dedicated to national and community service were honored with the “Rashtra Seva Samman”.

A Community Effort:

The attendees praised the initiative, noting that such inspirational programs are only possible through nationalist organizations like Salute Tiranga. The success of the event was attributed to the efforts of Mukund Kumar Singh, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Prakash Agrawal (Chhotu), Rajesh Choudhury, Aman Chaturvedi, Parasnath Shah, and many other local social workers.

The organizers concluded the event by expressing their gratitude to the guests and contributors who supported the program with their time and resources. The evening was more than just a tribute; it served as a powerful catalyst for strengthening the spirit of patriotism within society. 

The event is supported by leading organizations such as LIC, Khandelwal Steel & Pipe, Metro Builders, and Kandoi Transport Ltd.
