OHPC Limited presented a cheque of ₹31.57 crore as dividend to CM Naveen.
Bhubaneswar: chief Minister Naveen Patnaik received Dividends from State PSU, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd (OHPC) on Tuesday from Energy Minister DS Mishra.
Principal Secretary Energy and CMD OHPC, Bishnupada Sethi and Director Finance Pravakar Mohanty handed over a cheque of Rs. 31,57,88,729 to Chief Minister.
This amount was given towards the State’s share of Dividend for the financial year 2018-19.
It had paid Rs. 18,65,34,600 dividend to the State Government in FY 2017-18.
In FY 2018-19, OHPC PAT (Profit after Tax) stood at Rs. 105.26 crore as against Rs. 62.17 crore in FY 2017-18, thus registering an increase of 69.31 percent.
OHPC earned Rs 478 83 crore by selling 5897.18 Million Units of energy in FY 2018-19, as compared to Rs Rs.467.13 core in FY18, registering a growth of 9.80 percent over the previous fiscal.
