Cuttack: One day review meeting of Range IG , DIGs & CP was held at State Police Hdqrs., Cuttack on 14.01.2020. All the Senior Officers of S.P.HQs, Intelligence HQs also attended the meeting. All matters related to crime, its prevention and detection were discussion at length. DGP emphasized the need for training, improving prosecution system, improving quality of investigation at the district level. Crime against women, Cyber Crime were discussed threadbare. DGP urged the Range IG ,DIGs & CP to look into the issue of high fatality rate in road accidents.
DGP stressed on the role of women police officers in the field policing and requested to the Senior Officers to create an environment more friendly to women.
Administrative issues were discussed by the Range Chiefs. Emphasis was laid on effective implementation of” MO SARKAR” and “5 T” initiative of the Government. Issue related to manpower and material resources in Police were also discussed.
Director Intelligence Shri S.Mohanty presented an over view of law and order and discussed about the possible law and order in 2020. The anti LWE initiative of the State Police was also discussed.
