Cuttack City IIFL Loot: 2 More Arrested, 13 Accused Nabbed Till Date
Cuttack: Pursuing its investigation into the broad daylight dacoity at Nayasarak-based IIFL Finance firm in the commercial city here last month, the Commissionerate Police arrested two more accused yesterday taking up the arrest figure to 13 till date.
The latest two arrestees have been identified as Debasis Hazra and Nilamani Saha.
Police said that Hazra and Saha were involved in allegedly amassing gold mortgaged in the firm and transacting illegal loans.
Notably, the loot was committed by mastermind Lala Amrut Ray who was then an employee of the company.
Apart from him, a female colleague and many others have already been arrested along with the hired criminals.
