Bhubaneswar: BISWAS , a registered social organization, organized a grand Holi Milan celebration in Bhubaneswar in a traditional manner.

Thousands of people participated in the event, held at Unit 4, Madhusudan Nagar, Bhubaneswar.

The highlight of the celebration was the traditional gathering with family.

The event was organized under the leadership of BISWAS’s President, Raj Kumar.

BISWAS also organized a colorful cultural program for the Holi Milan celebration, in which renowned Bihari singer Salem puri Yadav and his fellow artists mesmerized the audience with their mesmerizing performances and enthralled the audience.

At this Holi Milan celebration, people danced and enjoyed Holi with great enthusiasm.

Women and children, in particular, thoroughly enjoyed it. The event was hosted by Dr. Vikramaditya Singh, a respected Odisha literary figure and poet.

At the end of the program, the BIWAS organization organized a Holika Dahan ceremony, which concluded with traditional chanting under the direction of learned Pandit Rudra Jha.

Many dignitaries from the city, including all members of the BISWAS family, Bhubaneswar, and the BISWAS Cuttack branch, were present.

Holika Dahan is an important Hindu festival that symbolizes the victory of good over evil.

This festival is linked to the story of Prahlad, a devotee of Lord Vishnu, who was attempted to be killed by his father, Hiranyakashipu, but Lord Vishnu saved him and killed Hiranyakashipu.
