Connecting new road from Xavier to Patia  square- To Be Opened For Public Soon, CP

Bhubaneswar: Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi informed a new road will be thrown open for the public from Xavier Square soon in order to streamline traffic in Bhubaneswar.

According to Sarangi, the new road will connect Xavier with Patia and is likely to be opened for public by February 17 or 18.

The traffic congestion in the Smart City, especially on the stretch of road from Jaydev Vihar to Nandankanan, has increased after the recent opening of a new bridge connecting Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

Terming the recent death of a minor boy, who got stuck in traffic for long in Bhubaneswar, as unfortunate, Sarangi advised the motorists to give way once they hear siren of an ambulance.
