CM said that the 424 acres created after the reclamation of land from the Mahanadi river will be utilised to add ecological, recreational, sporting, cultural, aspirational, technological value in the life of the people of Cuttack.

It will be the State Government’s endeavour to prepare a decongestion plan for Cuttack as to enable our beloved millennium city to have wider roads, better accessibility, public spaces and utility, parks, modern urban infrastructure, parking and greenery, Naveen said.

“Our objective will be to keep most of the reclaimed area with greenery and open spaces and utilize the rest of the land for the development purpose, beautifully surrounded by an International class riverfront,” Patnaik added.
