350 units of blood collected in Cuttack

Cuttack :  Anant Gopal Ashram, located near Potapokhari, Mahanadi vihar was organized a mega blood donation camp. This event was organized under the joint aegis of Shri Anant Gopal Bhakta Samaj Sewa Sangh and Commissionerate of Police, Cuttack. In this program, chief guest Cuttack DCP Akhileshwar Singh and Mahant Pradyuman Kishore Das of Ashram were present there. The blood donation camp was started from 10:30 am. This camp was organised on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day.

The main purpose of this camp is to help the people affected by Covid-19. In this program, many dignitaries of police and society participated and donated blood. 350 units of blood were stored here which in itself is a very large number. ACP Amarendra Panda and his team were mainly present in this program.

Giving information about this, Additional DCP of Cuttack Trinath Mishra said that blood donation is the best way to help the society and there should be participation of all people such types of program.
