1950 KISS Students To Appear Odisha HSC Exam -2020

Highest number of students appeared HSC exam from a single school in India, KISS.

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1950 students from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) are going to appear the 10th Board Examination , conducted by  the Board of Secondary Education in Odisha, this year.

This is the highest number from a single school to put pen to paper 10th Board Exam in the country. Remarkably, this number is at par with the total number of students appearing for the exam from as many as 50 High Schools taken together under the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

These students belong to various tribes, including primitive tribes, from 30 districts of Odisha. The students will appear the annual examination in three different centres such as Unit-8 Saraswati Sisu Vidyamandir; Niladrivihar Sisu Vidyamandir; Fakirmohan Nagar, Dharma Vihar Saraswati Sisu Vidyamandir and Govt Nodal School, Phase –II, Chandrasekharpur.

Congratulating the students Dr. Samanta said, this period is very precious for every student. Students should study hard and take the help of their teachers if any doubt. “I am very much hopeful and confident that this year the students will fetch cent percent success like previous years,” he said.

The annual matric exam is scheduled to start from February 19 and conclude on March 2, 2020. As many as 5,60,891 students will appear for the 10th Board exam at 2888 centres across the state.
